The run up to the World Cup was a nervous time for many of us, but even more so for those who deal direct with the consumer. Not only were we heading into the traditional summer slowdown, but the World Cup also is typically associated with a change in consumer behaviour. We all spend more time sat on the sofa, or down at our “local” watching the footy and using more of our hard earned cash on pints and crisps rather than retail therapy.
To counter that behavioural change, The County Mall at Crawley came up with a multi-channel campaign called “Fashion Versus Football”.
For promotion in the Mall itself, Evans Graphics were asked to print an eye catching sign. Having discussed it with the client, understood where and how the graphic would be used, how long it would be used for and where it would be needed, we recommended printing directly to 5mm BeeBoard.
BeeBoard is a honeycomb structured board made entirely from paper. It is nearly always made from recycled material making it an easy choice for the environmentally aware.
The graphic itself was 1.2m in diameter which our Teckwin TS600 UV Table Printer can easily handle. It has a massive 65 square feet of printable area and produces extraordinarily high resolution images.
We digitally printed both sides of the graphic for maximum visibility and delivered to site.
We just hope that their campaign turned out better than England’s!
