When a local print house realized that they needed to get a quantity of 8000 promotional beer mats produced within three days, they turned to Evans Graphics for help and advice. It was clear that in order to get the job completed within three working days a fast solution was necessary (normal lead times of four to five weeks exist in the world of small run beer mat promotions).
The Solution
By having the designs litho printed directly onto a vellum self-adhesive paper, there was no compromise on quality of image, which was of prime importance for the end client. These sheets were then laminated onto a 1150um beer mat board, before being die-cut to their final size of 105 x 105mm. With eight designs all needing to be pushed out and boxed separately the inspection staff set up a small station to cope with the collation and packing as required.
The Result
So by the close of day two, the entire job of 8000 beer mats was completed, and delivered back to the print house who were more than delighted with the result. Each beer mat was of the highest print quality, and owing to the accurate method of print sheet to board registration used by Evans Graphics, they were all cut to size in good tolerance.
