Conference and training venue specialists HTS Lane End were in the midst of a complete refurbishment program for one of their residential blocks, when the need to replace the internal way-signage was identified. Signage needed to be clear and logical, and be presented in the house colours seen throughout the site in order to maintain the corporate theme.
The Solution
Having already worked with Evans Graphics for signage requirements, it was a simple task to bring them in to advise and recommend a workable solution within the budget constraints. Upon evaluating the needs within the building it was proposed to offer a modular aluminium slat system, which could also be tailored to suit the space limitations. Making use of Spandex's well tried and trusted Slatz System, a proposal was designed and put forward, showing the best layouts and slat configuration.
Using a seven year life cast vinyl the signage was prepared with pre-cut characters applied directly to the stove enamelled silver paint finish. The combination of flat 40mm and 80mm width slats complete with the shaped quadrant end tracks provided a pleasing result that will prove to be easily maintained when inevitable changes in the building need to be applied.
The Result
A total of 9 signs were identified as being required internally. These are now installed and working silently to direct and inform visitors and guests alike. The co-ordination is tied nicely with the exterior grounds way-signage, and if there is a requirement to add to or to modify an existing directory, then the specification is stored safely for an immediate response.
