Hughes Wynne joins Evans Graphics Ltd.

During August 2003, Steve Hughes, Managing Director and proprietor was approached by Steve Tilbury, Evans Graphics Ltd Managing Director with a view to discussing the sale and acquisition of Hughes Wynne Ltd.'s business. Following a short round of discussions, a commercial agreement was drawn up, and both parties signed during September 2003. Evans Graphics now manufacture most of the products previously produced at the Chertsey premises. These include polyester and polypropylene shims, gaskets and seals.

The acquisition of the Hughes Wynne business is yet another tactical move to further diversify and strengthen it's product portfolio for the Evans Group. Having already successfully manufactured it's own range of shims and insulators for several years, combined with the recent addition of a highly versatile Preco 24x12 press, the move comes at just the right time to ensure a solid position in the UK and Global marketplace for the supply of these technically versed products.

Evans Group are committed to improving the Hughes Wynne Artus range of products and services to all clients, and with our two sites both capable of producing a wide range of industrial products, the opportunity to add to and build on the newly acquired Hughes Wynne client list is very exciting!
