Lamination plays a big part in what we do. Every day we need to be laminating materials together to ensure we can produce the correct products for our clients. We are capable of laminating most of our roll stock materials either directly onto another surface, or to bond them to a self-adhesive tape or filmic sheet.
We possess no less than five laminators, all offering different approaches to the process. One particular laminator is used solely for the lamination of protective film onto the metal sheet work that needs either tooling out or guillotining to final size. Another laminator is used for the lamination of double sided tapes onto the reverse sides of our printed sheet work. This process turns the sheet into a fully adhesed component that once die-cut or laser profiled to it's finished size, is then ready for application onto your end product.
We also utilise a heated roller lamination station which is very useful for laminating heat activated adhesives onto difficult substrates, such as thin film polyester or aluminium foils. This helps us produce insulation materials that perform to the highest specifications, essential when you are looking to source quality insulating components for your next electronic build project.
Our largest laminator can handle a width of some 1600mm, normally sufficient to cover most applications. Display panels and exhibition graphics are normally mounted and sealed on this particular machine, as it is better suited to that style of work.
