Above: Combi binder manufactured from 1200um Polypropylene & 20swg Aluminium Alloy. This approach overcomes the need for an expensive piano type hinge. By using the flexible polypropylene section to act as the mechanism carrier and the hinge assembly we can manufacture small quantity orders without the worry or expense of adapting tooling to suit alternate spine widths. The polypropylene hinge is rivetted directly onto the aluminium covers, adding strength and security by default. Better suited to O-Ring type mechanisms rather than the D-Ring type.
